Luke Bryan is now country music's highest-paid artist, edging Garth Brooks out of his three-year run at the top of the annual list from Forbes. Luke brought home a remarkable $52 million over the past 12 months.
His extensive touring schedule, including his 2018 What Makes You Country Tour as well as his 2018 Farm Tour, garnered a large part of that income, but Bryan's total take-home pay was also significant bolstered from his judging gig on "American Idol" as well as endorsement deals.
Meanwhile, Garth also pulled significant revenue from his world tour with his wife, country star Trisha Yearwood-- a hefty take-home of $45.5 million.
In third place, Kenny Chesney clocks in at $37 million, pulling massive ticket sales from his Trip Around the Sun Tour as well as from endorsements and his own line of Blue Chair rum.
Zac Brown Band ranks fourth ($31 million) and Blake Shelton is fifth ($28 million).
