Kane Brown leads the list of country nominees at this year's American Music Awards, with three nods. Brown is up for Favorite Male Artist — Country, Favorite Album — Country for his 2016 self-titled debut release and Favorite Song — Country for his No. 1 single "Heaven" at the AMAs.
Thomas Rhett, Florida Georgia Line and Dan + Shay are close behind Brown, with two nods each. Rhett is also nominated as Favorite Male Artist — Country and Favorite Album — Country for Life Changes, while FGL are nominated in the category of Favorite Song — Country for their 41-week No. 1 hit with Bebe Rexha, "Meant to Be," plus Favorite Duo / Group Country. Dan + Shay are recognized with nods for Favorite Song — Country for "Tequila" as well as Favorite Duo / Group — Country.
Additional country acts who are nominated for 2018 American Music Awards include Luke Bryan, Luke Combs, Kelsea Ballerini, Maren Morris, Carrie Underwood and Lanco.
The AMAs will air live from Los Angeles Oct. 9 on ABC.
