Kacey Musgraves has announced that her new album, “Golden Hour”, is set to drop in the first half of the year.
Musgraves opens up about the new project in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, describing the project as "trippy." She drew inspiration from a number of places, including '70s disco group the Bee Gees and Neil Young. She explained, “I was thinking about how there are different masks that we wear that represent different sides of us. None of the masks are solely us, but they’re all us.
Musgraves details a variety of personalities that she poured into the album, capturing themes of love, loneliness, sadness, winning, losing and more across the songs.
